The pre-trial judge of the Criminal Division, Fitore Krivanjeva Daci, approved the state prosecutor's request for the imposition of a pre-trial detention measure against the defendant as well-founded and the defendant was sentenced to a pre-trial detention measure of one (1) month.

The pre-trial judge, after holding the hearing and analyzing the case files, has confirmed that there is a well-founded suspicion that the defendant, on January 16, 2021, in his home in Ferizaj, physically abused the injured party - his mother FA, so that while she was giving him medication at his request, the defendant first goes out into the hallway, breaks the door of the room, then returns to his mother, whom he first grabs by the sweater and then punches in the head, and then when she starts to ask for help from the window, he manages to leave the house.

The pre-trial judge, based on the provisions of the CPCRK, assesses that the conditions for ordering detention on remand have been met, taking into account the gravity of the criminal offense, the manner and circumstances of its commission, assessing that if the defendant were at large, he could destroy, hide, alter or falsify evidence of the criminal offense or influence the testimonies of the injured party and other witnesses, and in this way the normal course of the criminal procedure would be prevented.
