Samsung is working on a 2n1 Chromebook

It is reported to be powered by a Kaby Lake processor and is codenamed Nautilus. There is no official announcement from Samsung yet.

Today, consumers have more options than ever before for purchasing portable computers.

Although many of them easily perform tasks with their smartphones, there are those who want a larger screen, which could be a tablet or laptop.

Both options have their advantages and disadvantages. Laptops have larger screens, better keyboards, and are usually more powerful, but they are more expensive and less portable.

2in1 hybrids are a golden mean between tablets and laptops. One such device is a tablet that comes with a keyboard and also behaves like a laptop.

If you want to use it as a standard tablet, just remove the keyboard. Their popularity increased significantly with the Surface Book 2, but it costs at least $1,000.

Samsung believes it can tap into the latter with a 2-in-1 Chromebook. They are less expensive than Windows and Mac laptops, with average costs ranging from $200 to $500.

A 2n1 Chromebook from Samsung would be a smart move if it stays within this price range. Information about the product is scarce.

It is reported to be powered by a Kaby Lake processor and is codenamed Nautilus. There is no official announcement from Samsung yet.

When will it debut? There are two possibilities: Either at CES early next year or at Samsung's event in the spring where the company will unveil its next flagship.
