Milan "bursts into celebration", after isolation Italians sing and dance in the streets

Italy has already moved into what is called "phase 2", somewhat easing the movement of citizens.

Yesterday, citizens were seen on the streets of Milan celebrating the end of phase 1. They danced in groups.

In the video posted on social media, people are seen singing and dancing, all wearing masks.

Loud music is set to celebrate the end of the coronavirus.

Distances of more than one meter are not respected in all cases seen.

Many other people appeared from the balconies of their apartments, dancing and participating in the collective happiness.

Italian media have criticized this "outburst" of citizens, saying that "Perhaps someone has forgotten that we are still in a state of emergency and believes that the virus has been defeated, but in reality the battle is still long."

In the city of Milan, the data remains very worrying. Yesterday alone, there were +533 cases in the Lombardy region.

This region, which according to a study by the Gimbe Foundation is still in phase 1, needed to maintain greater social distancing measures. But the end of the lockdown has been interpreted as the end of the virus while the number of victims has reached 28.884 cases.
