Surprise operation in Pristina, Customs seizes smuggled ammunition

Kosovo Customs seizes smuggled ammunition in the Pristina region Today, on 09.10.2025, in the Pristina region, Kosovo Customs units, in cooperation with the competent sectors and based on the mandate from the Customs Code and the Excise Department of the Republic of Kosovo, have conducted a surprise inspection of a business entity.

During the inspection of the business premises, a quantity of smuggled ammunition of various calibers, including ammunition for long guns and shotguns, was discovered and seized, which was held in violation of the legal provisions in force. The case has been documented and the competent prosecution has been notified, while Kosovo Customs will continue investigations in cooperation with law enforcement agencies to identify the source and destination of this smuggled ammunition.
