Eight new cases of coronavirus in Albania, the number reaches 803

The number of people affected by Covid-803 in Albania has reached 19. Eight new cases have been confirmed in the last 24 hours out of 140 tests that have been carried out.

Five of which are in Tirana, two in Elbasan and one in Durrës.

So far, 31 patients have lost the battle with this virus.

"The epidemiological situation in the country is currently stable and with a low level of positivity compared to the total number of tests. During the week of the epidemic, the percentage of positivity reached 4.3%, the lowest value since the beginning of the epidemic, which shows the operation of the measures taken, the identification and epidemiological tracking of suspected cases and their contacts in time", the announcement states.

The Ministry announces that there are currently 229 active people with COVID-19 across the country.
