This is how you avoid stomach bloating!
Nutritionist Jeannette Hyde says sugary foods should be limited to just one treat.
It's not known exactly why sugar can lead to an imbalance of beneficial and unhelpful bacteria and bloating, but try to keep your sugar intake low.
She also recommends avoiding sweets in coffee and tea as a sugar alternative, as these can also cause bloating.
Fruit juice and honey count as added sugars, as they are sometimes added to foods to make them sweet, fruit juice is still a healthy choice with a one millilitre serving counting towards your five a day, however, sugars can damage teeth, so it's best to drink with a meal and no more than once a day.
