Top ten best-selling cars in Europe

The Dacia Sandero ended last year as the best-selling car in Europe. According to Dataforce data reported by Automotive News Europe, 243,676 units were registered, which is enough for a convincing first place despite a drop of around ten percent compared to 2024.

Following the Sandero comes a new wave of traditional favorites. The Renault Clio rose 5.8 percent to second place, while the Volkswagen T-Roc held on to third place, confirming that demand for small SUVs is not slowing down, writes Indeksonline.

Volkswagen further consolidated its dominance, with the Tiguan and Golf taking fourth and fifth place, although the latter also saw a decline almost as large as the Sandero.

The Tesla Model Y is only in 15th place as the only fully electric model in the top twenty-five models, and this with a significant drop in sales.
