A person is killed on the Pristina-Ferizaj road, police provide details

At around 07:30, police were informed of a gunshot wound on the Pristina-Ferizaj road.

As a result of the gunfire, one person was injured, AS, a Kosovo citizen, who was unable to cope with the gunshot wounds and died.

The case in question has been confirmed for Indeksonline by the police spokesperson for the Pristina region, Flora Ahmeti.

"Today at around 07:30, the police received information about a gunshot wound on the Pristina-Ferizaj road. Immediately after receiving this information, all necessary police units arrived at the scene, supported by the regional crime investigation unit and other units for examination of the scene. Upon arriving at the scene, the police determined that it was a gunshot wound where the victim was injured: AS, male, citizen of the Republic of Kosovo, who, unable to cope with the gunshot wounds, passed away. The victim's death was confirmed by the medical team at UCCK," said Ahmeti.

She further added that in connection with this incident, the police have arrested two suspects and confiscated a weapon suspected of being used in the case.

"Currently, police investigators are working to shed light on and clarify all the circumstances related to the case, which the State Prosecutor has described as aggravated murder," Ahmeti added.Indeksonline/
