Vučić responds to Kurti about the "secret agreement with Thaçi"

Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić, in an interview with TV Prva, spoke about the claims of the acting Prime Minister, Albin Kurti, about reaching a peace agreement between Kosovo and Serbia.

The Serbian head of state said that there is no such agreement that Albin Kurti claims, and added that there have been no serious discussions with Kosovo President Hashim Thaçi for a long time.

"I have not had a serious conversation with Hashim Thaçi, and I don't remember the last time I did such a thing," Vučić said, according to Kosev.

Vučić has said that Kurti's statements are "absurd conspiracy theories" and sees it as part of the Vetëvendosje Movement leader's fight with President Thaçi.

"They are fighting each other so fiercely that it doesn't matter who says what, they are able to accuse each other of the most terrible things, but I am not interested in such a thing. I don't get involved in such things," Vučić emphasized.

The Serbian president further said that there are currently no talks with Kosovo, and said that he hopes that there will be someone in Pristina with whom he can talk.

"We are not talking to them. I hope there is someone there in Pristina with whom we can talk," Vučić added.

 In the end, Vučić said that currently there is nothing in terms of a solution to the problem with Kosovo. He says that if there is any movement, the first to say it will be the people of Serbia.

"I will do such a thing despite all the problems that such an issue has brought us. I will say such a thing, with the hope that we will have something in the future. But currently I cannot say such a thing. We have nothing," the Serbian head of state emphasized.
