She pretended to be blind for 30 years – the reason shocked the whole world

Carmen Jimenez, 57, from Spain, 28 years ago told everyone that she was blind after an injury she had suffered.

Almost three decades later, her closest friends believed she was blind, because Carmen acted like it.

Although he only pretended to be, Jimenez could see perfectly.

But when they realized she was acting, she said she hates going out and talking to people.

Her husband told reporters that she sometimes seemed to see the TV, but the fact that she was not blind shocked him.

Jimenez said that she was never a social person and that it suited her for people to think she was blind so she couldn't talk to them or say hello to people she didn't like.

Carmen will have problems with the law, as she received financial assistance from the state as a "blind person"
