FBK Board approves new guidelines for 'Final 8' and Kosovo Super Cup competitions

The Board of the Basketball Federation of Kosovo (FBK) has recently approved two very important documents. These are the New Guide for the Organization of the Final 8 of the Kosovo Cup and the Guide for the Organization of the Kosovo Super Cup.

The organizers of the Kosovo Cup Final 8 and the Kosovo Super Cup must strictly adhere to these Guidelines when organizing these events.

Both documents were drafted by Elvira Dushku, Secretary General of the FBK, who adhered to the criteria for organizing FIBA ​​events and the FBK Competition Regulations.

"THE FINAL 8 OF THE KOSOVO CUP is the most prestigious competition, which is organized under the umbrella of the Kosovo Basketball Federation, therefore, organization with high criteria is required for this event. The intervention in the Guidelines for the Organization of the Final 8 of the Kosovo Cup, which was approved several years ago, has been more than necessary, as things have changed significantly in terms of organizing this very important activity for the KBF, although when it was first prepared, everything was adapted to the FIBA ​​criteria of that time.

Regarding the Guide for Organizing the Kosovo Super Cup, this document has been drafted for the first time and has been more than necessary, therefore future organizers should prepare this event in accordance with this Guide.

I am very proud that since 2017 onwards I have had the opportunity to be in charge of the organization of international matches of the Kosovo A National Team under the umbrella of FIBA ​​and the two FIBA ​​European Championships in Pristina, and on this occasion I have gained experience in such organizations, so it has not been difficult for me to draft these Guidelines, but also to adapt them to the reality in our country.

Both of these Guides will be of great service to the Organizers in organizing these events."
